Saturday 10th October is World Homeless Day. It’s often said that many of us are less than three pay packets away from becoming homeless. Take a minute to consider that, it’s not a pretty picture.

Shelter Devon – Plymouth
As a precautionary measure, in line with government guidance, the Shelter Plymouth face-to-face services are temporarily closed. You can still access our support, guidance, and expert advice services via our get help pages online, or by calling the Devon service team.

Shekinah Mission – Plymouth
Shekinah is a Devon & Cornwall based charity that provides opportunities for people in recovery or seeking recovery. This may include recovery from homelessness, drug and alcohol issues, offending behaviours or mental ill health.

PATH is an independent local charity based in Plymouth. We were set up in 1995 to support people who are vulnerable to homelessness by providing a range of services from work to rough sleepers through to support for people to maintain their tenancies.

The Zone Plymouth.
are a charity which provides free and confidential information and support to young people. On average they support over 5500 different young people each year through our different projects; since we were founded in 1990 we estimate that we have supported over 130,000 young people.
THey deal with a host of matters that also include housing and homelessness and their drop in service is available 6 days a week
