The RSPB is the UK’s largest nature conservation charity, inspiring everyone to give nature a home and secure a healthy environment for wildlife.
What we are looking for.
We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and flexible local volunteers who are happy to go out and about in their local areas, checking on our charity pin badge boxes.
It takes on average only a couple of hours a month and is flexible around your lifestyle, whether you are studying, working or retired.
No previous experience required although some basic IT skills would be handy. Drivers licence is not essential but could be useful.
Our charity pin badges which come in a variety of birds, animals, insects and flowers are popular with all ages and raise over £1.2m in the UK in an average year. The role involves placing and visiting pin badge boxes in places like cafes, shops and garden centres on a monthly basis returning to restock the boxes with badges and banking donations for us using a paying in card.

Full training and equipment:
Everything you need will be provided, support can be offered to help with the finding of sites and placing and you will have the support of the area Community Fundraiser to guide you on your volunteering experience.
Please note: Although this is an unpaid role, some out of pocket expenses like mileage and parking up to a certain amount can be claimed back.
