Our aim is the rescue and adoption of abused dogs from China. Most of them will come from the meat trade. We want to provide them a safe living environment and want to find them a permanent home. We’d like to co-operate with rescue centres and set up a neutering program.
We are looking for a trustee who is looking to give some of his/her time to help the management of our charity.
What will you be doing?
We are registered as a not for profit organisation in the UK and our aim is the rescue and adoption of abused dogs from China. We have made a significant progress in our first year to the point that we need to register as a charity.
We are looking for an individual to manage the affairs of Home For China Dogs, preferably someone who can speak Mandarin.
You will need to:
- Be over 18 and will need to become a member of Home For China Dogs.
- Build a good relationships with rescuers in China.
- Help to create campaigns against dog and cat meat trade.
What are we looking for?
As a Trustee, you will have the chance to influence how people should care for animals and prevent abuse of animals. As a part of Home For China Dogs you will contribute to the charity’s working practices with your skills, knowledge and expertise in business & project management, lecturing and digital strategy.

As a Trustee you will be invaluable to the charity by giving your expertise in management, digital strategy and lecturing when needed.
