Saltram house and parkland is a beautiful space serving Plymouth in many ways. Whether you are interested in history and conserving the house and collection, rolling your sleeves up in the parks or gardens or helping visitors to have a wonderful experience, our vibrant, friendly team needs your help.
Volunteering at Saltram gives you an opportunity to be part of over 300 years of history. In joining us you can expect full support & training, quotable work experience, travel expenses and a chance to make memorable, long lasting friendships.
There are a couple of roles we’re currently seeking volunteers for. Could you be part of our Christmas House Team? learn about the house and be able to assist visitors as they walk around our Christmas presentation of the Nutcracker. How about gaining all the skills needed to assist in the shop and welcome area here at Saltram as one of our Retail Volunteers. Perhaps you are able to have really positive conversations with all age groups and could help us to understand community needs so that we can make choices that keep Saltram useful and relevant to Plymothians and its visitors. If so our Outreach and Engagement Volunteer role could be right up your street.
Please enquire, even if you have little experience. We are an incredibly friendly team and there is full training available for each role. We’d love to hear from you, click the button below to apply.
