COVID19 Preparatory Training Offer

Type: Emotional / social support, Information / advice, Mutual aid

Location: All of Plymouth

We know a lot of people are struggling financially and this is likely to get worse before it gets better. We also know that once you begin to suffer financially it can be really difficult to recover. There are lots of ways to help people cope with financial worries and we would like to make it easier for people struggling to find help – before it becomes an overwhelming problem.

Additionally we know there is likely to be a range of demands for support to isolating people for some time.

There is also predicted to be some long term impacts on mental wellbeing amongst our population.

In preparation for this we would like to offer all Good Neighbours/NHS/Volunteers in the city the opportunity to receive training on a variety of topics which will support our city’s resilience to these issues as we exit this first stage of lock-down and enter the next.

What are we asking?

We are asking you as volunteers to get ready for when we will need to call on you by attending or completing some or all of the online training listed below.
