Military Compassion at the end of life
St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth is looking for local people, ideally with military veteran background , to offer volunteer support within the military service community.
Thanks to grant funding by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth is embarking on a new initiative in partnership with local military and relevant support organisations to share our end of life care and bereavement expertise. The aim is to support the local military service community to hone and further develop their compassion for people who are given a life limiting diagnosis. At the heart of the project are volunteer workers, who engage compassionately with individuals and their families.
If that sounds like you, they’d love to hear from you.
