PLYMOUTH PIE CLUB (PARKLIFERS IN EXILE)

A grassroots community group coming together to support elderly and vulnerable people in Plymouth who are isolated and alone during the Corona Virus19 period. Redeemer Church Plymouth are in a working relationship with PIE CLUB.

This work is in the short-term is a direct response to the Corona Virus19 crisis however we hope to continue AND GROW all  this good work following the crisis.

WHAT OUR VOLUNTEERS WILL PROVIDE:

  • FOOD DELIVERIES
  • DOG WALKING
  • SHOPPING FOR ESSENTIALS
  • PHARMACY COLLECTIONS
  • FREE SUNDAY ROAST DINNER EVERY SUNDAY AND FREE MEALS ON WEDNESDAY FOR VULNERABLE AND ELDERLY

WE ARE RECRUITING AND REGISTERING VOLUNTEERS IN THE FOLOWING CENTRES

  • VICTORIA PARK CAFÉ  11-2pm
  • FREEDOM FIELDS PARK CAFÉ – 11am-1pm
  • DEVONPORT PARK CAFÉ – not recruiting here, this is our admin centre and food prep and distribution of meals

WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS FOR ALL THE ABOVE ROLES INCLUDING ADMIN STAFF, TRAINED CHEFS FOR HELPING WITH COOKING FOR THE VULNERABLE ETC
