Opening Wednesday

Moments Café will be reopening it’s doors to their lovely customers on Wednesday 8th July.

Moments Café is a Social Enterprise based in the heart of Plymouth City Centre. They offer a safe environment for people to meet, eat and socialise and all of their profits go towards Memory Matters.

Memory Matters provide support for people living with dementia in our community, as well as offering FREE advice services in their Memory Matters Hub, which is located above Moments Café.

The interior of Moments Café was designed to ignite conversation by creating different eras, including the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Customers can choose which time zone they would like to sit in whilst they enjoy a nice cup of coffee and reminisce.

All the staff are rightly proud of the good food that is homemade on premises. They make dishes that are familiar, hearty and delicious and all food is sourced locally in Devon and Cornwall. They like to cater to all our customers by including both vegan and vegetarian options on our menu, as well as providing a selection of sweet treats for everyone to enjoy.

Moments Café also offer a Buy It Forward scheme. This means customers have the option to buy an item of food or drink to donate to someone who is either homeless or less fortunate than themselves. They then distribute Buy It Forward vouchers to the Plymouth Food Bank, Hope for the Homeless, Shekinah Mission as well as the local street pastors. People are then able to come into the Café with their vouchers and redeem a hot meal and a drink.

The Café is wheelchair and pushchair friendly and they also have highchairs which are available to use. Customers are able to connect to free Wi-Fi whilst they’re in the Café.
