Do you have professional experience in finance, HR, or legal services? Would you like to make a difference to people’s lives?

Access Plymouth Ltd are a local charity who support disabled and elderly people with their transport needs in Plymouth. We are supported by Plymouth City Council and Citybus to provide door to door minibuses and volunteer driven Community Cars along with wheelchair and scooter hire via our Shopmobility scheme.  Last year we made over 17000 journeys supporting some of the most vulnerable people in Plymouth. They currently have some vacancies on their governing body for the following voluntary posts.


They are looking for people to be Trustees for the charity. Generally meeting are every two months, although this might be occasionally more often when extra advice and support is needed. They're looking for people who have experience in finance, HR, legal or any other area which may be helpful to them.

Associate Trustees

If you can’t commit to this amount of time, people with professional qualifications who would be willing to serve as Associate Trustees are also sought. This would involve perhaps two days work a year providing support when needed. Again, support with finance, HR, legal and Health and Safety would be most appreciated.
