Help your local community

Help your local community

Are you an individual that’s looking to volunteer or a community group that needs volunteers?

For the duration of Coronavirus crisis, Our Plymouth is partnering with POP+, Together for Devon and Plymouth City Council to help with the Good Neighbours Scheme.

Together we are calling on the citizens of Plymouth to join us by volunteering to help people stay safe in their local community. If you’re healthy and low risk, you can search below to become a Neighbourhood Volunteer and support others in the city.

Volunteers can offer practical support such as drivers for shopping deliveries, making check-in phone calls or you can share specific skills with voluntary organisations and charities who need our help at this time.

Good Neighbours is about providing a central space for volunteers, community groups and charities to come together and help some of the city’s most vulnerable people throughout this difficult time.

Thank you for your support and your willingness to help. We will get through this by working together.

We used Our Plymouth to recruit several volunteers. The website was really easy to use and we quickly saw our volunteer opportunity appear.
